We find and shortlist properties that match your brief, including off-market where we can, so you are not working through portals from a different time zone.
Inspections on your behalf
We inspect in person and report back to you by video, photos and a written summary, so you can see what we see.
Due diligence
We check the contract, the property and the risks, working alongside your conveyancer and building and pest inspectors, so issues surface before you commit.
Negotiation and auction bidding
We negotiate price and terms against hard comparable evidence. If it goes to auction, we develop your bid strategy and bid on your behalf. No outcome is guaranteed.
Settlement and beyond
We keep every deadline moving through to settlement. If it’s an investment, BFP Asset Management can look after it once you own it.

Things to know before buying from overseas
Lending, tax and stamp duty can work differently when you live overseas, and the rules can change. We work with brokers and tax advisers who deal with Australians living abroad, and you should get advice on your own situation before you commit.
Do that early. It affects how much you can borrow and what you can buy.

Meet Ben Plohl
Ben is the founder of BFP Property Group. He is a chartered accountant and former CFO who has invested in property for 22 years and worked as a buyers agent for 8. In that time he has completed more than 550 acquisitions.
Since 2018, Ben and the BFP team have been helping Australians living overseas buy back home.

Can you bid for me at auction?
Yes. If your purchase goes to auction, we develop your bid strategy with you and bid on your behalf on the day.
Do I need to fly to Australia to buy?
No. We inspect on your behalf and report back by video, photos and a written summary. You can visit if you want to, but you don’t have to.
How much does it cost?
Our fee is agreed in writing before we start, and we go through it with you openly on your call.
Can you help with finance?
We work alongside your broker and lender and don’t give financial advice. If you need a broker who deals with Australians living overseas, we can point you in the right direction.
Where in Australia can you buy?
